Safety, Reporting and Appeals

How to block, report, seek help and appeal a Repnect moderation decision.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

About this document

Repnect is a mobile application developed and operated by SOLTYX ENGINEERING STUDIO LTD ("SOLTYX", "we", "us" or "our"). Repnect is a SOLTYX product, not a separate legal entity.

Stay in control

Repnect connects adults for fitness, accountability and coaching. Use good judgement, protect private information and stop an interaction whenever you feel uncomfortable.

For a first in-person meeting, choose a busy public gym or place, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transport and avoid sharing a home address or financial information.

Emergency help

Neither SOLTYX nor Repnect is an emergency service. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement. Do not wait for a response to a Repnect report.

Block a user

Use the in-app Block control to stop supported contact and discovery between accounts. Do not use another account to evade a block. Blocking does not itself submit a report, so report serious conduct separately.

Report a profile, message or content

Use the in-app report control available from the relevant profile, message or content. Select the closest reason and provide concise context. Reports may include relevant account and technical information needed to investigate.

For an off-platform incident connected to Repnect, an illegal-content notice, account-access problem or inability to use the app, submit https://repnect.com/safety or email safety@repnect.com.

Report illegal content

An illegal-content notice should include:

  • your name and email unless a lawful exception permits anonymity;
  • the exact profile, content or message being reported;
  • why you believe it is illegal;
  • the country whose law may apply;
  • supporting context that can be shared safely; and
  • a good-faith statement that the information is accurate.

We acknowledge receipt and communicate the outcome where required. Do not submit or redistribute unlawful material unnecessarily.

Child-safety reports

Report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation through the in-app route or safety@repnect.com. Do not download, copy, forward or attach suspected CSAM merely to report it. See the Child Safety Standards.

What happens after a report

Authorised personnel assess available evidence, urgency, severity, applicable rules, user history and risk. Measures may include no action, warning, restriction, content removal, feature limitation, age or identity check, temporary suspension, permanent termination, preservation and referral to an authority.

We do not promise a particular outcome or disclose private information about another user. We may withhold notice where it would create risk, compromise an investigation or be prohibited by law.

Moderation reasons

Where required or appropriate, a user affected by a material restriction will receive a clear reason identifying whether the decision relates to law, the Terms or Community Guidelines, the relevant content or conduct, the measure and the available appeal route.

Appeal a decision

Submit https://repnect.com/appeal or email safety@repnect.com within six months after the moderation decision of the decision. Include:

  • the account and decision reference;
  • why you believe the decision is incorrect or disproportionate; and
  • any relevant new context.

An appeal will be reviewed by an appropriately authorised person who was not solely responsible for the original decision where practicable. We will communicate the outcome. Manifestly unfounded, abusive or repetitive appeals may be limited.

Privacy and records

Safety information is handled under the Privacy Notice. We restrict access, retain records based on risk and legal need, and disclose information to authorities only where lawful or necessary to protect a person.

Report a safety concern
